Its a toy poodle. Bichon Frise has a more of a triangular fur overall shape around the head. like a triangle with its face. Toy Poodles has kinda of a fur like the picture you shown. I have a book that I bought from 1 Utama MPH that is called Legacy of the Dogs. It shows over 200 dog breeds and it is RM83.90. It shows the characteristics, care and everything. But not all the dog breeds in the world are there.

Go to Petfinders or a breed rescue in your area for Bichons or Poodles, even the pounds sometimes have them waiting for a good home (but realistically, keep an open mind, you're unlikely to find a bichon or poodle puppy in a pound), you have to pay a fee of course but they come completely vetted etc so it equals out.

You could also become a foster parent for Bichons or poodles. Small Paws is a big rescue group always needing foster homes. Then when the perfect fit comes along you will know it.

Yep, looks a lot like a bichoodle (or bichpoo if you prefer!). My sister has one and he is the sweetest little thing. I would adopt one myself if I didn't already have enough dogs.

Yeah, it is a mutt. Sometimes they are the cutest, sweetest dogs. I'm all for adopting the mutts!

I don't know why anybody would dock the tail of a full blooded Bichon so I'm thinking he must be more poodle cause the Bichon tail is very important for identification. But he is surely a cutie pie.
