I was just curious on how to get rid of the smell of corn chips on a dog's feet. I have tried various perfumes and doggy shampoos without much success.

For humans Benzoyl Peroxide works for smelly feet but I don't want my dog to bleach my carpet in the house.

Someone may think I'm crazy but I have always associated this with corn-based foods and I have had dogs who had no more corn chip smell once I switched to a rice and meat (NO CORN!!) dry food.

I can honestly say I never heard this before. Dogs feet smelling like corn chips? Barbecue, Chili cheese or regular flavored?

Water dog?

Try washing him with neem pet shampoo. You can get in health food stores.

I happen to love the smell of corn chips on my dogs feet and yet unless I deliberately sniff their feet I can't smell it otherwise. If your dog is smelling of corn chips by just passing him you may need to just bath him a little more often?

ROFL! I guess they are okay as long as they don't taste like corn chips.

HALT! Put down the cheese dip and step away from the Chihuahua!

Interesting, I never heard that before. But that other poster brings up a good point that it might be the corn in their food.

titaniummd What brand of dog food do you feed your dog?

Food has been debated before, and even dogs who are fed corn free diets still smell like corn chips. Incidently cats smell like rice pudding according to some.

Awww, why get rid of the smell? Unless it knocks you down a mile away. I personally love the smell of corn chips, and wouldn't touch it. You'd think i'm nuts, but sometime i just love to smell their feet

Also, dogs sweat through their paws, that's what that smell is....

That is funny. And because I had to check I smelled my dogs' feet and all I smelt was lawn.
