They have online dog trainer courses? I would think that you would need more "hands on" training. Do you have dogs?

Yes I have 2 Dogs.. I was thinking about taking the Course from Penn Foster & they say that I could get hands on Training.. Either Dog Training or Vet. Assistant.. I don't know anywhere in PA that offers Vet. Assistant Classes.. I know Pet Smart & Super Petz in York offer Classes, but it's only 6-8 weeks classes one day a week, but I'm not exactly sure how much Material the Classes give.. I do Agree that an Online Course sounds pretty tricky, but some people Learn at their Own pace..

My dog trainer who is American and now lives in London mentioned Penn and Foster. I think she studied with them, but did other courses as well as hands on training. How about contacting a dog trainer in your area to see if she could do with any help...you can combine it with whatever course you do.

Harcum College used to be on the Main Line. You might want to Google them. I no longer live in PA but I would think that Harcum is still in business. At one time it was a two-year school, but it probably is now a 4-year college.

She's asking about TRAINING, not Vet Tech. Completely different skills! Neither, I imagine, would lend itself to online training.
