So what you're saying is, you're not in the market for a chihuahua, eh? LOL!

Nope, I don't think a chihuahua would be very happy here . I think my dogs might really love a chihuahua...for a snack.

In a colder climate, a chihuahua would be perfect for someone who prefers to get the "outside business' done quickly.

I own a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I love both breeds tremendously!

Some other breeds I really like: Cocker Spaniel, Golden Retriever, Newfoundland, Great Dane, Saint Bernard, or Great Pyrenees.

Breeds that would not be at the top of my list to own: Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Chow Chow, Jack Russell Terrier, Chihuahua, Doberman Pinscher, Cane Corso, Chinese Crested, or Shiba Inu.

I love *all* dogs, but which breed(s) would I own?
1. Yellow Labs!!!!!! Have owned these; now happen to have a lab/pitbull from the shelter who has "issues" but I love him dearly; next dog will be a purebred yellow lab. Going tomorrow for a yellow lab fix to a pheasant farm where 8 yellow labs immediately greet you and want to be your friends!
2. Maybe Golden Retrievers but not sure about the long hair
3. Labadoodles? Goldendoodles?
No terriers, no chihuahuas, no hyper breeds (though one of my labs was hyper), no breeds such as pitbulls which require more structure and different training than a retriever).

I've had a huskie and a GS, very nice dogs that never bit any one. My meanest dog: the toy fox terrier! Let's not be puppy racists!

Talking Rotty Heaven is where we want to be

We LOVE all dogs.
We just have a soft spot for Rotties.
The happiest time of my life is when we had 4 Rotts at a time.
They were all rescues from different orgs. and they all got along so well.
All the photos I took of them were before digital cameras.

Sometimes I would go thru a whole box of small dog cookies to get a good shot. It was worth every box

I miss them so much. They were such fun & were such good babies.
Thank goodness for memories & photos. They will always be in our hearts.
