Depending upon the strain of Pit Bull these days, stealing one from a knuckle dragging cretin (with perhaps deep pockets) might prove costly. The newer, "bully" strains, currently wildly popular, can be uber expensive; top conformation males can fetch over ten thousand dollars!!!!!!! No one can afford to lose too many at that price!

It does happen, the people finally get it after a while...saw it happen many times! They finally give up with a dog...thank God!
