Reminds me of the dog Argos from Greek Mythology where Oddysseus's dog is the only one who remembers him after 20 or so years of him being absent.

*tear* So heartwarming. I honestly don't think I could leave my babies that long, but Rudy would have an even crazier reaction... I left for 2 weeks once, and he literally knocked me down as I walked in the door!

Loved this! I of course identified with this b/c his dog that litterally hugs him...we have one of those in our house too when she hasn't seen you in a while (granted not 14 months or close to that)...matter of fact, our dog that hugs and his hugging dog sort of favor one another (lol).
