We(or I) had our baby on Oct 14th and brought her home weds!
my parents took the dog while we were at the hospital
Cody LOVES HER! He doesn't touch her but sits close and watches and sleeps next to her bassinet. I got the best dog EVER!

Some pics!

All is great!
God is good to us!

Your daughter is beautiful and Cody will be her protector. You are indeed very lucky. Much happiness to your family.

Default aaawwwww

Adorable!! Our dog is like that with our 4 month old as well. She like to give the baby kisses though if she's in the activity bouncer or on our lap. Congrats on your new addition!!!

That is so sweet and it will ensure a life long bond between the two. When I was born my parents had a Boston Terrier that "adopted" me. Until the day she died when I was 10 years old I never spent a day without her and now at almost 37, not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

Love the photos of Cody and the baby. What's the babies name? She is a cutie.
I am sure her and Cody will have many wonderful years together and he will teach her what it means to be a true best friend. I bet most of us can recall the first dogs in our lives and do so with very fond memories.

Your dog is already protecting Kate and will continue to do so. Just wait until Kate is up and running around - the dog will be right behind her! Very cute pics! Best wishes on the new baby!

Great! Just be careful, even the most wonderful dog can get jealous or possessive...

Our dog loves our son...she tucks him in every night!! No lie!

today cody pulled on my leg to follow him, jumped on the bed and kept looking at the bassinet. The baby was in the bassinet. I picked her up and she had a stinky diaper. I got a diaper patrol!

We are being very careful w/ the dog and baby to make sure he doesn't feel left out.
