My vet is gone this week but his partner that did the aspiration on Jazz'z tumor called to just give me the basics she said my vet will discuss it with me next week when we have the stitches removed.
The report on the actual tumor says it is a low grade nerve sheath sarcoma and the margins were clear. He took alot of tissue out to be on the safe side so I am happy it appears he got it all and that it is low grade!
Jazz is recovering just fine from her surgery. We had to break the no walks for 10 days rule as despite her being 12 she is a bundle of energy and was going nuts with no walks. I did stop giving her the rimadyl they gave me for pain as she had stopped eating and had diarrhea. She dos not seem to be in any pain and now that she has not had the rimadyl she is eating again.
I can at least rest tonight knowing I am not dealing with some super aggressive high grade sarcoma.
Glad to hear it, Dash. I know how much you love Jazz.
