My 2 barked the first time the bell rang...I calmed them...after that, I guess they figured Mom's ok with it...we'll just check out whose at the door. They stay in a sit stay or down while I handed out candy...kids love seeing them lie there....One lady asked me if they were "real" DH responded, "Nah, we had them stuffed"! She just walked away and didn't say another word!

It was Sawyer's birthday as well, so he thought it was just great that everyone was coming to celebrate it with him. The world revolves around him, after all

I took my grandson out trick or treating, and my husband was watching tv. The dog was with him. My daughter was sitting out on the porch passing out candy. Dog didn't even know anyone was around. Chili never barks if the doorbell rings or someone knocks. She has never met a stranger. LOL

We didnt have trick or treaters but my sister's dogs were basically in the bedroom, said whenever someone came to the door, the dogs would race to the bedroom b/c they looooved the pieces of turkey she bribed them with, they figured that trick out fast!
