Bully Sticks ??
I've been told that Bully Sticks are the best thing for dgos to gnaw on as oppsed to any other type of rawhide chew, pigs ears, bones etc. Is this true? I've read that they are rather "unsavory" portions of the bull left after slaughter....they smell bad but my dog loves them. What's the real scoop?

Our Bulldog loves them. We always have some in the house for him. If you can overlook the fact that they are bull penises, then you'll have the best treat for your pup!

My dog lives for them, and they are much better than many chews as they will digest, if they swallow a large piece of one, unlike rawhide which is not healthy....some brands of bully sticks smell worse than others but I don't get that close to them :-).

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, I knew from whence they came...lol. My dog is just crazy about them. They're pretty costly which surprises me. One would think they'd be inexpensive considering they come from "throw-away" parts......sorry guys. lolol.

Thanks for the info - I think we'll be sticking with Nylabones
Just out of curiosity, where do "cheap, generic weiners" come from? Sounds a bit insulting to someone....
