French Bulldog. We have a 10 month old Frenchie puppy and he is a lot of fun .

He has turned us from a dog fancier to a dog lover

I have a lab and a flat coated retriever.

I want an Irish setter.

I believe my favorite breed is the Irish setter, love the looks and personality. However it seems I favor what ever catches my eyes and heart at a rescue or shelter, both of my current dogs are rescues, I'll probably continue the trend.

Default Terriers, also known as 'Terrors'

My heart goes out to the little scrappy guys, the terriers.

I have always loved the look and playfulness of the terriers, in general, and have had the pleasure of owning a Jack Russell terrier (I think they recognize the one I have as the Parson Russell -- long-legged, and often broken-coated), and a Cairn terrier (think::Toto from Baum's work, The Wizard of Oz). So far, the Cairn is my favorite of all breeds.

Terriers are most certainly the poster children for dogs that people make the mistake of getting, based solely on looks or what they perceive from popular culture. Case in point: the poor JRT, made popular by Eddie on tv's Frasier, and again, in the movie My Dog, Skip. What child didn't want a Skip?

Over the years, I have had -- either as family dogs, or owned personally -- German Shepherd(s), an Irish setter, an English setter, a Golden Retriever, a Black Lab, a Dalmatian, Weimaraner(s) and a few mutts thrown out on the side of the road here-and-there. My first dog, as a child, was a little Beagle.

This breed! Although I have no idea what she is. I'm becoming a fan of smooth-faced Pyreanean Shepherds though. I've always loved GSD's - working lines, not the show ones. My top pick, though, (not counting my Sienna) would have to be Australian Cattle Dogs. Gorgeous, smart, bratty little things. Gotta love 'em.

My aunt has English Labs, and I agree they are pretty awesome dogs.

I LOVE dogs, especially big dogs! We've been owning Rottweilers for over 20 years and they are GREAT family dogs, contrary to the bad rap they get. We've never had a problem with any we've owned. Right now we have a Rottie and a Walker Coon Hound, she's adorable too! We've also owned labs, great dogs as well!

My personal favorite is Pembroke Welsh Corgis.

We rescued one from the local animal control shelter a few months back. The vet said he's "full blooded" and that he was in excellent health.

Best dog I've ever had.
