Remember -PLEASE do not adopt her to anyone until a home check and personal and vet references are checked. Also - some rescues are fake also. Only let the dog go to reputable rescue that has been researched.

Very sick people masqaurade as good dog owners - they will torture an animal, use as dog fight "bait" or sell to research labs for cruel experiments

This is some great info. you posted. I heard the laboratories have people scour craigslist for pets listed free to good home! Terrible. Also there was that cat guy in NJ who took so many out of shelters and from people who gave free to good home, only to torture and kill them all! Horrible! He is in jail I think!

Have you been able to solve your allergy problem or were you able to find your girl a good home?

If you still need to find her a home send me the info and a pic of her and I will post her for you on a few GSD boards that I am on. Also I know some people that do rescue. Not in NY but it can't hurt to put her out there.
