When young I had a toy fox terrier, and it was really a smart dog, and so smart! I have been considering, getting one, however, has anyone here had one? The dog I had, was real sweet, but that was long ago! Thanks!

I have five... they are really something, and smart as a whip, Love all of them bunches!! I have one ol timer named turbo of 11-12yr ....one "teenager" 2.5 yr old.. and three young'ins... smiling.. about to be one year old. They are my joy and make wonderful companions! My ol timer was dilligent in keeping me cuddled during my chemo days... and now my naps are even more cuddles!... The best thing is I have a bad back, so they are great for all ages,5-95 and what I call wash n go pups! You would enjoy another silly little one Im sure..

My aunt had one. Named Zipper becasue it zipped around at high speed, non-stop, over and under the furniture.

They have a lot of energy and don't grow out of it. They are terriers and act like terriers. Some people can live with that and some can't.
