LOL...We actually used one of these tests on a rescue my daughter has...a whole conglomeration of results! But we knew Pit would not be one of them.
No problem, I think the test's creators were wise to the fact that singling out pits could go really, really badly! And now all that are tested probably show up as labs or something.

Did you feel the test was accurate for your rescue pup? I've been debating getting it done on my Chow mix... I'd love to know what the other half is.

I'll DM you since I don't want to step all over the OP's thread.

Looks like a pit... side view might be helpful. Does your dog have crazy strong looking hind legs. My parents pitbull is just covered in muscle... and she is unbelievably fearless. They were told she was a lab when they adopted her... not so much..

What a cute dog you have. Very sweet looking and I love the coloring of him.
Just make sure you keep your dog socialized and give tht little pit plenty of love and affection. Also do not forget to spay/neuter! You have a nice dog, keep it that way!
Good luck!

My boy looks just like that when I scratch the front of his neck. He leans into my hand, his eyes glaze over and his ears lay back.

The pup is adorable and does look like a pit.

That would be very interesting to find out what all Boo has in him...how and where do you get a DNA test on a dog???

You can order one on line...just google canine DNA tests...they run anywhere from $50+ and up. Or one can be done at the vets for considerably more $. Not sure how accurate they are, as we got some bizarre results we did not expect.
The test consists of a Q-tip inside a casing...swab the dogs mouth being careful not to let it come in contact with anything else, replace it in the casing and send it off in the envelope provided.. Just like on CSI!

Thanks ShelbyGirl1 I will have to check that out once finances are back under control. Not really important but it would be interesting to see what they would find.
