This is Guinness...he is one little dog who means serious business when it comes to his toys. On this particular occasion, his sister Cinnamon was monopolizing a toy I had gotten for the cats, and he was rather annoyed about it, so he started gathering the other toys in the room and bringing them one by one to his sopt on the couch...problem was, Cinnie was retreveing them and bringing them back down on the floor just as fast as he was collecting them! In this shot, he was at the point of !!! He managed to collect 2 toys, which was better than one, but as you can see, there is NO way he was going to trust or relinquish the squeaky, fuzzy toy to ANYONE...not even mama!!!

He's adorable! My older guy, Gray, will do that too. He gets all the toys around him (won't even chew them), but no one else is brave enough to take them from him--ha ha. They all sit in a circle and stare at him. I don't think I have a pic of my grumpy Gray dog doing this, so I suppose I'll have to break out the camera . . .

How adorable! I don't have any way to upload pics right now...need a new dig cam. But Boo will carry around dog bones like they are security blankets sometimes. Usually he eats them but every once in a while he will just carry them from room to room anywhere he goes, I've even found them in my bed.

Thanks for the happy pics...(Mak & Dogmom, I tried to rep u both, but apparently I need to spread more around before they let me...!) These pics are just what I needed after a long, sad and gory day at the animal emergency center...it was one of the most devastating days yet, but seeing your happy, healthy furfaces reminds me of why I love working there so much despite the heartbreak...we can not save them all, but the ones who make it and are able to run, play & live to see more years of love makes it the best job on Earth. Thank you!!!

This is our crazy Daisy. We rescued her about a year and half ago to go along with our other 2 labs. She is a choc lab/pointer mix.

She loves birds, squirrels rabbits, mice - really anything she can give chase to!

This a picture of her at the end of a squirrel hunt. She tried to climb higher to no avail! She's about 15 or so feet up. This was taken at a 75 acre dog park just outside of Denver.
