This sounds like an old wives tale to me but.....I was told that if you had a yellow lab you needed to feed and water him/her from a stainless steel bowl or their nose would turn white in stead of staying black like they should. Anyone ever hear anything like that????

LOLOL No, I haven't heard that one but I do know that some dogs are allergic to plastic bowls and that ceramic and/or stainless steel ones are more sanitary and can't hold germs and bacteria.

My four dogs eat from stainless steel.

I haven't heard that at all! We give our chocolate lab food and water out of a stainless steel bowl... and I think his nose is always brown, lol
