My black lab was outside on a potty break normal as could be, 5 mins later she went inside for a brief moment and came back outside with me. The neighbors little girl was in her yard and my dog ran over. When i called her back...her eye looked weird. I rushed her to the vet thinking maybe the little girl had a stick in her hand and poked her or something. (i still don't know) ...doc put her on artificial eye drops, medicated eye drops, oral antibiotics, and pain pills just incase. 24 hours later it was about 90% better.Blood results came back normal except for a liver enzyme that was high but the doctor said its not high enough to be of concern. Now its 2 days later, I come home and her eye is just as bad, if not worse . I called the doctor's dad (The main vet) and he said i dont know whats going on. normally it goes away and stays away, or doesnt go away at all. Maybe she scratched it . My moms puppies were over last night and this morning, they may have scratched her . So anyway, doc says keep an eye on it and keep up the meds. so we'll see what happens. This is so scary. I immediately think , well it got better, now its worse again....it has to be something more. I hope not. Has anyone had this problem before????

My pup had his teeth cleaned, his eye looked lazy, brought him to the vet she said he had horners, she gave eye drops but i still kept looking on the web, saw articles on ear infections, so i took a wipe to his ear and he yelped and there was a little blood on the wipe, just made an 8:45 for monday morning has to be an ear infection. I hope some ear drops and he'll be fine. Bottom line keep checking yourself too.
