I use the malacetic otic, flash the ear first and then put the zymox in it if it is simple ear infection
If she has ear mites is different you need to use a mites product
I use the Otomite plus. once a weak until the mites are gone
if you have more than one dog you need to out the otomite on them too even if the ear looks clean.
Hopefully this poor dog doesn't still have ear problems 7 years later. But all this information may help somebody else with a similar problem.
Don't know if it has been mentioned yet but most groomers gently remove inner hair from floppy eared dogs to prevent this sort of problem. Lack of air circulation can cause problems. But mites can be another problem all together.
