Can anyone tell me where they have found the best price on pee pads? My daughter lives in a condo so her dog has to use them, she has been getting them at Petsmart at 30 cents each in the big box, I am hoping someone knows where they can be purchased at the lowest price, maybe even by mail if the shipping isn't too much.
Go to a medical supply house online and look for chux - these are incontinence pads that are THE SAME THING as the pads sold in Petco, etc. they can come in various sizes but I find that several of the 23" x 24" work fine (remember to use several, because frequently the front legs will be on, but the hind end will be elsewhere)
I buy these by the case of 200 - about $40. Just google " medical supplies" or "incontinence supplies" and you'll get a lot of choices. There are sites that also have free shipping.
I bought them for years when I had my little Peke. By far the cheapest price is
Dog Housetraining Aids: Piddle Pads by Drs. Foster & Smith (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=18589 - broken link)
I paid like 45 bucks for 150. It was crazy cheap. This was quite a few years back though.
They are nice and thick too! Excellent quality!
They went up in price for less! I think the price is still cheaper than petstores.

Do the arithmetic: $40 for 200 is less than $45 for 150!
I would buy the chux if I can find them locally, but I haven't been able to. I won't pay for shipping.
Target sells a brand called "Simply Out". A pack of 50 for less than $13 (.26ea), and their website always has an online coupon ( .50 )to be used at Target.
Occasionally, Arm & Hammer will price their 50-pack for $10. I had a $1 coupon and found them at Walgreen's.

I was just giving her an online choice. As most people today prefer online buying or maybe cannot drive around or do not have the time too. The drfoster pads are also very thick and they have a scent that attracts the dogs to wee and poo on them.
