I have a 5 month old lad puppy, she was a rescue my husband found her almost dead on the side of the road, we nursed her to health and she's a normal growing pup, But she Barks at the door to be let in, she's crate trained but she will bark and bark at the door for us, she wants our attention. well the neighbors started to complain and we had to do something so we got a bark collar and in one week she had learned to control her barking, she no longer wears the bark collar but I keep it on hand just in case but I haven't had any trouble in a few weeks I don't know if this helps or if you believe in bark collars but it worked for us!! good luck

If she is at the door barking why not just let her in? I just think that putting a bark collar on a 5 month old pup is not good. I have taught my dogs to not bark with positive training. I say quiet they stop I treat.
