Yeah, yeah I replied in my Baby Sitting thread that he got adopted but I just wanted to share the joy. My first foster, even if I was only baby sitting, and my first adoption event and I have success. I think I'm hooked now. I guess I'll start fostering full time soon, lol.

That's wonderful news. And it is addictive.

I've been working with a shelter lately. Every time they have a euth day coming up, I get in touch with other rescues and do all I can to get the dogs off the euth lines into foster homes. The last two times I've moved over 150 dogs (total) for her, canceling both euth dates. It's such a rush knowing there are that many lives out there that are going to have a wonderful life now. And when you pull one off a euth line yourself and get it trained and ready for a new home - and then you get to see it with it's new family. OH man, break out the hankie!!!

Yep, definitely an incredible feeling that you can't compare to anything else in the world.
