Kirby my bichon is a complicated guy. For such a small piece of business he has a lot of opinions. He has his rules.

Don't look at me while I eat. If that cat paws at me, she is going to get what for--even if I am scratched in the face. My water better be fresh out of the faucet or I don't drink, and that's that. Sure, I love cantaloupe and carrots--but they dang well better be bite-sized and perfectly shaped or I ain't touching 'em. I play at night when the household is sleeping--squeaking my toys and running up and down the hall like a herd of colts--and anyone who doesn't like it can find another house.

I am no slob--but keep that groom stuff to a minimum or else! If I am on my walk I will not be rushed---sniffs take time if done right--and hurrying (walking)is not allowed.

But---he loves me--and that is the truth! Anyone else is either tolerated, attacked, or maybe given a nod if they really do babytalk well. So--he is pampered and spoiled and runs the show in this house.

I love my dog but:
**she CONSTANTLY needs 'attention' and is 'jealous' when I hug my son or my husband (especially my husband). She has to be in the mix if anyone is 'getting attention.'

If I say "So and so is getting attention" she will fly down the stairs or in from another room and wedge her way in.

**My dog stares at me when I eat and it puts me off!

** She is very high energy and needs many walks a day.

** I cook for her and sometimes I am sick of doing it.

**She sheds HORRIBLY and loves to rub her white fur all over my blue sofa.

**She has a very high prey instinct and goes insane when she sees other animals.

**She challenges me as top female!

Good points:

She is very sweet and loves us to bits. (especially hubby & son).

She 'talks' a lot--raww, raww....It's so funny.

She's a good watch dog.

She is the dog with the most personality I have ever had.

I have to add one more about Buster....he follows me everywhere around the house, even if I'm just getting up to close the front door cuz it's chilly. And when I say everywhere....I mean EVERYWHERE. I can't even go to the bathroom in peace without him coming in. Since he has done that ever since I had him, Bella started doing it too once she started catching on. Forget about taking a bath, if I shut the door he gets mad. If I'm home I have to be in his line of sight ALL the time. He's such a baby, but I love him!
