Ive been thinking lately that Jasper eats/likes some rather oddball things for a dog.
He likes carrots, apples (sometimes), loves the yolk from hard-boiled eggs, popcorn, celery, I recently learned that giving them the leftover bits of a friend's Taco bell burrito is a BAD idea if I want to be able to breathe at night (Doggy farts are AWFUL, and I swear they both aim the smelly end at me!)
I also learned why I shouldnt have let them both chew on a pumpkin around Halloween...Jasper likes pumpkin, but I dont like the mess it makes me clean up in the back yard...
Lately both dogs are hooked on jelly beans (the Jelly Belly kind). All I have to do is say "Jelly Beans" and they both stop what they're doing and come running. I dont give these all the time, but if I have them and they are roughhousing too much it helps.

What are the strangest things your dog will eat?

My dog loves nuts--cashews, almonds, filberts, any nut will do. The strangest food preference, however, has to be her love of fortune cookies, which I have to give to her everytime I order takeout unless I want to look at her dejected face all night.

Riley loves her apples. We have an apple tree in the yard, and she grabs one as soon as she goes out. She also loves pumpkin and pumpkin seeds.
