This is my new favorite show, infact, I record the series and I'm so surprised that there's so many new episodes with few repeats. I think I want a pitbull now after watching this.

My favorite episode was with that one dog who Tia identifed as a lifer, that he was unadoptable and too agressive. Well Tia get an email from some girl that she "wants her dog back". The girl had a substance abuse problem and her dog had been taken away.
When Tia reunited the dog with his owner and saw how good the dog was, Tia cried! It was touching.

I remember that episode... one of my favorites! The dog even knew tricks... and no one knew!

I love that episode too.
Tia is certainly a dedicated person, but I have so many questions about what makes her tick. I watched the episode today about when she went to the hearing to get the permit for the Tehachapi (sp) location. I wanted to scream into the TV, "Cover up the tattoos, and make everyone take the piercings out."
I also wonder why she only seems to be able to relate to the lowest common denomonator...dogs and people.

I haven't been able to watch the shoe since I gave up cable last fall. So what's the latest with Tia and the dogs? I did hear that Jake had found true love and left to go live in NC.

How are things going for them all in NOLA?

I love pits. I haven't seen the show, but I ran a pitbull rescue for many years. They're wonderful dogs.

zugor-they made a great move going to nola. They have a large warehouse where the dogs can be protected from the elements, also outside kennels.
The community has been welcoming, many volunteers and Tia has a cop on her side. She met him at a meeting and he told her the story of Lucky, the pit that had been rescued. He, or she, can't remember, was horribly malnurished. I'd never seen a dog look that bad. The cop got Lucky back in shape.
She's got some great parollees working for her. Very dedicated.
Jake fell in love with a veterinarian and moved to NC. They plan on starting a pit rescue there. It's the same old story, unwanted pitbulls tied up somewhere and left to die, or just scared dogs trying to take care of themselves.
Thank God for Tia and others like her.

They just started filming season 5. Villalobos posted a pic on their FB the other day showing Tia and one of their volunteers each walking a dog and a cameraman filming it.

As for Jake, he is running his rescue as we speak. I'm not sure if he has a website set up yet, but he does have a facebook page for it https://www.facebook.com/TheFortResc...67910835681872
