I have a Shepard lab mix that was given to me at 2 months of age. I had her spayed at around four months. She has had all of her shots and is healthy. She is about 10 months old. I am apprehensive about the way she behaves around a four year old child recently introduced into the family. I have 2 cats and two teenage kids she is fine with. She does bark and growl aggressively when she sees someone walk by the house. This child is very rambunctious and cannot sit still. At one point he was running in the yard and she nipped him on the butt. Well, now I don't trust her. Recently he was over and I had her crated . He was jumping around and running which caused her to bark furiously. I am afraid she may bite if given the chance. What should I do?

keep crating her while the child is at your house.
