She wouldn't give them to me! She was trying to sell them for 400 a piece, which is ridiculous! I doubt this litter was a mistake. I would have gladly taken the entire litter, raised them til 10-12 weeks, then found good homes for them. But, she wants money and I'm sure someone will pay for a Christmas puppy.

When I was looking for a puppy, someone steered me to Kijiji and I got the same bad vibes you guys did - although they did have some very cute pictures.

thats insane. Its just so sad. These animals are nothing but $$ to so many people.I remember years ago i was at the local mall and someone had a box full of puppies they were just handing out to people.I took two of them.I was only about 16.You shouldve seen the look on my mother's face when she came to pick me up.But she was working as a kennel aide at the time and we kept the babies overnight and she brought them to work with her the next morning. If i had the money i'd take some of these puppies.Call me crazy but i'd take them get them checked by a vet and find them GOOD homes.A couple of months ago i was just leaving work,it was a sunday(were closed to the public on sundays)and im driving and i see this plastic storage thing and i saw something pop up.So i turned around and found EIGHT pitx puppies.TINY puppies only like 6 weeks old piled on top of each other covered in their own urine and feces. So i turned around and brought them back to the shelter. The shelter location is an industrial area and people ALWAYS leave us gifts at the gate but these babies were down the road. They could have atleast left them where we could see them. The highway is right there and i usually get right on that but i went the other way this time.Good thing i did because we had terrible rain that night and these babies would have died.

No definately not. They werent in the news or anything,i might have made a thread about them, not sure.We got them all adopted! Were not allowed to do fostering. Its another stupid law of NYS.Only private rescues can do it,not municipal shelters. Its a shame really.
