hey everyone.i just woke up a little while ago.this messed up sleeping pattern is really starting to kick my butt.i was up until 330 last night with him.Called the animal hospital and since he's eating and drinking i took his catheter out!!I was advised to see how he does,as long as he continues to do well he wont need fluids.Giving him too much when he is already hydrated isn't good.No vomiting/diarrhea.He had two poops today and the last one was alittle light and somewhat soft, maybe because of the i/d.He needs to stay on that for atleast a few more days.Dont want to upset his stomach and trigger any diarrhea. He was SO happy to have some freedom!!I let him run around for a few minutes and he was playing like crazy.Have to go tomorrow to get more meds, but they might switch the antibiotic to an oral.Hopefully we're past this, its been almost one week so i would think we are!

He keeps biting in some spots.i swear he has mange.lol my poor baby!!
Bringing him to work tomorrow and im going to put him in one of the offices so hes away from the other animals. We can start vaccinating in a week most likely. They said they usually give pitbulls an extra vaccine because they are prone to this condition.

Anxious to hear how our little Rhino angel is doing...
I've been thru this too many times...so I know what your going thru, except your exhausted from watching over him 24/7 where we had all of ours in the vet. I can't imagine how exhausted you are. I'm so glad he's doing better... YEA RHINO !!!

hey guys, hes GREAT!!the spunkiest ive seen him since ive had him!!

Was at the vet for more meds(amoxi)and they said he looks very good.we will do bloods and urine when hes off antibiotics.I am very pleased with how this all turned out.I cant thank the staff at the hospital for everything.I was in contact with them after hours, on their days off.Granted,im close with them all but still they go above and beyond and really care.Still didnt get the bill, very scared about that lol.but im glad my little boy is better thats all that matters!thank you all for the concerns about him and helping me get through this crazy time!!I will update you with pictures as he grows.I think hes going to be a little terror!!but thats okay.he LOVES the cat litter box.and hes just so playful.
