Ah well it's a fact of life. There's inconsiderate people everywhere. Look at the bright side, at least the neighbor's not taking a dump in your garden!

When my neighbors dog used to come over and use my yard, I started picking it up and redepositing it in his driveway. I eventually got his dog trained to avoid my yard; I would wait for him to get in my yard, I would clap my hands real hard and yell his name to go home or throw cold water on him. After a while he stopped hitting my yard and would head for the neighbor across the street. The owner said it was too much trouble to fix his gate. I lived in Berkeley for a while and in that town it is mandatory to leash your dog and clean up after them, now I live in a rural town and still leash and clean up after my dog. Bleep bleep it does not just disappear , some one has to clean it up.

I keep my three dogs within my yard to pee and poop. I agree that dog owners should be more considerate of their neighbors' yard. My current issue is that my tenant just got a dog and he is not diligent about picking up his puppy's poop. So now I am picking up the poop of four dogs.

I can't stand the people who let their dogs roam in the parks and not clean up after them.
It's just gross to go for walks and then see a huge pile of doggie poop. (or not see it and step in it).

That also gets on my nerves! People figure that it's not their yard and it's a park...so what the heck! ...not!...I've actually carried a couple extra bags and handed them out to people while their dogs were taking a poop and they obviously didn't have a bag to pick it up with...most were embarrassed but appreciated that I offered an extra bag.

ummm our park says "clean up dog poop" and it should also say "but watch out for steaming piles of horse poop on your walk" ....I want horse people to pick up their horses poo too!

LOL.....yep, and it doesn't help that where I walk my dogs there is a riding ring/horse path...
...and for some reason my dogs find steaming heaps of fly infested horse poop a delicacy!

I sympathize with your dilemma. I own two dogs, and I won't allow them on anyone's property, unless they are specifically invited. It is a bit easier for me since I don't live in town and I have a large piece of land for my dogs to play on. I let them read the "pee-mail" on the gravel road bordering my property, but if they attempt to cross the street, I call them back immediately. I certainly don't want other people's dogs (or cats) dumping on my property, so I assume my neighbors feel the same way. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is my philosophy.
