OK, this had me cracking up!!!
I talk to Artie all the time, of course. I know that he doesn't understand, but it makes us both happy. My husband thinks I'm crazy. (He's a psychologist; I guess he would know.

I'm happy to see that others have "talks" with their dogs, though. One of my neighbors has a little poodle mix girl, Maya, who loves to jump on me and climb my leg. Whenever she does this, her "owner" (I hate that word) says, "Mayaaaaaaa, didn't we talk about not doing that?" Cracks me up EVERY time.
