Howdy y'all.... Well, our Easter Bunny came a little early last night... We were checking out my son's new elementary school (1604 & Potranco area), and we stumbled across a litter of puppies that were dumped by the side of the road. Probably some of these jerks that sell them by the side of the road weren't able to sell them, so they just dumped them. PATHETIC!!

Well.... this little girl, now called Samantha, ran right over to my wife, and that was it.... done deal, she's ours. She's a smart little gal, very easy going and she'll be a good one for us. My only question is... what is she? Obviously she's got some (all?) Rottie in her... but at this young stage it's hard to tell. Anybody with Rottie or Rottie mix experience? How big will our girl get? Anybody see anything to tell what other type of breed she is?

My new found puppy... what am I?-cimg1161-medium-.jpg

Well, her paws aren't TOO ginormous, so I think she'll be mid-sized. She's got a whole lot of cute in her, that's for sure. Thanks for taking her in and sorry I'm not any help with breed, but she's a lucky girl.

What happened to the rest of the puppies that were dumped on the side of the road? I can't believe people. How cruel can they get?

Oh yeah.... I forgot to mention, her siblings were picked up as well while we were there..... All 3 found homes. 2 girls and 1 boy. Better homes than the original owners, by far.

She sure looks like she is part German Shepard. I'm sure glad you all went out lastnight and were kind enough to give her a great new home. She has already located the best seat in the house! It's great that the others found new homes also but it's too bad those SCUMBAGS who dumped them were not seen by the right person(s)

It makes you wonder how many other folks were out there (around San Antonio) trying to make a quick buck by selling kittens, puppies, Dyed pink bunnies, chicks, etc.

Good Luck with her! If she is anything like the two Shepard Mix puppies my Son's Girlfriend adopted she'll grow fast.

I can see beagle too there, but it is hard at that age to be certain. She is awfully cute. My rotten/shep cross is only about 60 pounds, not too big. Thank goodness they all found homes Now that is a Happy Easter!
