Is there something you can spray on outdoor plants to discourage dogs from eating them? I looked up on the toxic plant list, and hostas appear to be in the safe-zone, but I would prefer she not eat them!
bitter apple spray that i got from petco or petsmart worked very well keeping bailey and then dave from chewing stuff they were not supposed to be chewing.....
Tomato cages work wonders on outdoor plants and sprinkler heads that dogs love to chew.
And they can't be washed away after each rain or when your irrigation system runs.
