Alaska State Troopers plan to recognize a German shepherd named Buddy for what they say were his "valiant actions" guiding an officer to the scene of a fire this month.
That dog and that trooper really were angels that night. Unbelievable that the dog knew exactly what to do, and that the trooper was so in touch to follow the dog. Great story! They are both heroes in my book.
caught this on the news here out of the corner of my eye this morning.... just watched the video THREE times.... what a good dog..... and the col. is right... the trooper was wise for following his gut and following the dog......
My friend pays an increased insurance premium for having a German Shepherd. I think they should give her a discount for having one. Amazing footage, Amazing dog!
