BALTIMORE, MD – On Easter Sunday, a group of youths were observed throwing rocks and bricks at a pit bull puppy who was tied up in the 3700 block of Greenspring Avenue near the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School. A concerned citizen saw this taking place and approached the youths.

Where were your kids last Sunday?

This is where I live. This is embarassing. I'm really glad I don't happen to "walk into" situations like this. She was bleeding out of her eyes, ears, and nose before anyone was able to intervene and scare the kids off. I would have jumped into my truck and run these kids over, repeatedly, even if I sat in jail over it for the rest of my life. How damaged can a human soul be, to inflict this kind of intentional suffering on an innocent?

Maybe it's just the PMS talking, but WTF is wrong with people.

I was thinking the same thing as I was reading that, about running the kids over myself. It happens everywhere, so don't be embarrassed. I'm just thankful someone intervened to help the dog. That man is a hero.

The post mentions that the man was being thrown objects as well. Any word on the concerned citizen?

We totally euthanize the wrong species on this planet. Humans suck. Well, some of them.
