I'd never heard of it but my vet is suggesting it over frontline. I have to admit, I'd prefer a tab to gooping up their withers once a month. I have a "sample pack" for the fur-kids but wonder if anyone else has used it. Any side effects? Anyone heard of it?

Ringo takes it; no problem. The big side effect is supposed to be nausea . . but so far, so good.

Lucy is too small for it.

our boxers take it and havent had any problems with it. last summer was the summer of the flea at our house. we used frontline plus, washed bedding, vaccumed, dogs still had fleas. we switched to comfortis and havent seen a single flea. we love it.

I have given it to my dogs too. It is expensive if you have more than one dog but it does kill the fleas quickly.

However, unlike Frontline Plus and other similar meds it doesn't kill ticks or flea eggs and larvae. There are some that also prevent ear mites.

You can also buy it online and it is cheaper than buying from the vet

I have lots of friends on it. Frontline has been ineffective in our area for ages and now Advantix is heading the same way (but apparently still effective in my neighborhood). I only have one friend's dog that puked it up. About 15 others are doing very well on it.
