Sure are alot of city parks in Duluth
Here is a list of the citys parks about 130 Im guessing some of these parks are so small many dont even know they are a park at all?
How many of these parks are on Lake Superior off of London Road do you think? Many of these parks have sections of the SHT running through them, while many others offer both hiking and mountain biking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.
With so many rivers and streams running down to the lake, these rugged parks offer great hiking and exploring, both in winter and summer months.
Lester river is personally one of my favorites, along with the hiking and Nature Center of Hartly Field. Hawk Ridge I think is vey famous as is Enger Tower and its history, and its beautiful gardens.
The Rose Garden in the correct time of year is spectacular, even having many weddings within its beauty.
The drive or walk along Seven Bridges Road, Twin Ponds below Enger Tower, all part of the reasons why Duluth is so special to me.
