Yeah, the Clyde site should be really cool. Already they have the Heritage Sports Center, but the marketplace, brewery, children's museum, etc should be absolutely fantastic.
I just love this rendering of the inside of the marketplace, from Business North:

Also, I see Business North has an article about a disagreement between Target and the Miller Trunk Highway plan:
Construction News
The marketplace is supposed to be really cool, from what I can tell. Here is what the article (first one) says about it:
Built in the oldest structure in the park, a timber-framed stable constructed for Clyde Iron Co. in 1898. The marketplace will include fresh produce, baked goods, smoked meats, candy, fresh flowers, a coffee shop and two eateries that will feature homemade tamales, ravioli, pizza and pasta.
It sounds very similar to a place called the "Forks" in Winnipeg (Forks Marketplace), but obviously smaller.
One article I read said that they were going to erect a really cool watertower, to use to advertise the site. Obviously it would be retro, to match the vintage look of the Clyde site.
Cool, huh? I really hope it does well, too. With all the hockey and now indoor football going on out there, I'm sure people will straggle over to the other stuff on the site.
I agree, they need a MUCH better website!
