I also gave him info on some of the possible entries of a few of the above, so maybe he'll dig into it for the story

Yep - except 5 guys, but have heard so much now about them from friends who used to live out east that I now want that one too . I see you are in St. Cloud - have you been to the 5 Guys? My ultimate favorite is Bahama Breeze - we are going to one on August 19th - RIGHT when we get to Orlando!! Will probably eat there 2-3 times while we are in Orlando.

I haven't been to 5 Guys. I will check them out someday. A friend of mine went there the other day with his wife and one child. The bill was just under $40.

Soooo, my girlfriend works at the Early Learning Child Development place in Proctor and says the owner (of the daycare in the same building) mentioned that Toys R' Us is coming back to town. I actually find that believable, as they didn't necessarily close due to poor performance, but rather a corporate decision. I sure hope it's true, Duluth is lacking a big box toy store that carries main stream toys.

Holy cow - that would be so cool! Any word on where it might go or when it might come back? I agree, it always seemed busy in there. Although, I will admit it saved us a ton of money when they left because we have two young kids and we never seemed to come out empty handed

I really would love if Toys R Us did come back to Duluth. I never saw them not busy. But I am curious on the location that it would go in. I wonder if it would go in the old Michaels space? Wait! I wonder if Toys R Us is the tenant that is working on getting a space in the old Gander Mt. building. The space is 18,000 square feet and their old location was 17,500. That would make a lot of sense. I still am hopeing for a Bed Bath and Beyond to go0 there or something else that our city doesnt have.
Aluminumpork did you ever get any confirmation on Texas Roadhouse or Culvers?
