That's great! Lot's of good, local places. The Greek one especially sounds interesting. It was also nice to see the Duluth News Tribune announce Texas Roadhouse ;-)

My brother is in ND right now and he just had a meal at texas roadhouse and was raving about how good it was. I've never eaten there but it sounds like it will be a good restaurant. I missed the Tribune article..... did it have a definitive time on opening?

Wow thats great that all those restaurants are opening here! I will defiantly be eating at the greek one and Texas Roadhouse! It says that they should open sometime next year. Which must mean they dont plan on starting construction for a while. Unless its the beginning quarter of next year!
I still find it sort of weird that Texas Roadhouse chose Duluth for their second location in Minnesota. Its funny I was reading a few online blogs and articles from other Minnesota cities and all of the posts keep commenting on how they want a Texas Roadhouse. I have heard so many good things about Texas Roadhouse. Their food is wonderful I have heard and also their buildings are very cool looking. I think the building will do a lot for Duluth Hill. I wonder what parcel they will be locating on...

The Texas Roadhouse franchise manager (or whatever his official title is) for the Midwest has strong direct ties to this area and is friends with people from Duluth. So I guess we lucked out.

Is the BWW not moving forward until the 2 other spots are also sold?

I emailed them but they did not write back yet. I am trying to get that answer out of them ComeToDuluth. I really dont know why they havent started yet. They said that they almost have signed the big box retailer and that was a month ago. I hope they start soon! I will try to find out if I can.

Another property is the Ground Round restaurant. The building has been for sale for awhile and thier wikipedia site says that Ground Round may not be around for long, there are no more of them in the Twin Cities.
