The Cabelas information has been heard from different sources, but its clearly stated on the site plan that that building has to be Cabelas. Plus someone knows that Cabelas bought land near the highway. Cabelas might be pulling another one of those mass emails that they send out and might not be ready to tell the public yet. When you say here... is that Duluth or Rochester? I would really like an IHOP to go up there. It would be awesome. I really would like one in Duluth too.

Well the email I received was very personal to my questions, but since there is nothing on their site about NE MN it would make sense to not say something even if it was in the works.
I am referring to Rochester when talking about IHOP. It's about time they get to more than just the Cities. Duluth could definitely use an IHOP or at the very least a Denny's.
I personally think it'd be more exciting to see Fleet Farm come to that area instead of Cabela's. I think Cabela's is nice but way too expensive. Fleet Farm is so much better and the deals are awesome. My family's favorite store is Fleet Farm.

You never know! But I wouldnt doubt that Cabelas is coming to Cloquet. I mean this site plan has a building designed just for Cabelas.... and that building has already been leased.
Mills Fleet Farm is exciting... but I doubt they will be coming north anytime soon. The new one in South Rochester is gorgeous.
I really want Duluth to get an IHOP. I think they are great places to eat and they are fairly inexpensive and really give you a lot for your money. I really am interested to see if Cloquet really is getting one.

It doesn't seem all that unlikely to me, there's one in Brainerd.

There is? I didnt know that at all! Then maybe there is a chance! I think Re-Cor should do a 250,000 square foot retail development next to Sams Club on that 34 acre piece of land. Put A Lowes there and some retail! It would be great!

Just a little update on the Chalet Motel project. Will not say what the restaurant is - other than "it would compare to the style of restaurant of Blackwoods". It is NOT a fast food restaurant. Wish I knew more, but hopefully someone can find out more sometime.
The wheels in my mind are now turning wondering what this could be???

Very cool! I really have high hopes for London Rd as a whole. I have a feeling a lot of development is really going to connect to the ends between 26th and 9th Ave with fresh development. Honestly, I would be very happy if it was a home grown place like Blackwoods, as long as they put as much effort into appearance as Blackwoods.

Oh great! I really would like another restaurant like Blackwoods... but if it is going to be like Blackwoods then it better have a nice appearance too. I agree with you Aluminumpork. Ive been very happy with the local places opening up lately... all of them seem to be putting in quite a bit of work to their spaces to make them look very professional.
