Also saw that the Five Guys sign is up on the mall exterior. Getting excited to try them out!

Hmmm, that's interesting! I wonder if Hickory Farms might be setting up their temporary store there this year? Just a thought, but have no clue.

So was back at the mall today and found the old pams hallmark store is now a sports apparel store. Can I just simply say I am disgusted, there is already a new sports store across from American Grill and now this one and if you count Lids that is WAY to much sports stuff for one mall. I really hope its just a Christmas. Although signage and such on the outside looks permanent. Just wanted to vent for a sec on my disliking of this new addition.

Well from what I heard, Build A Bear still is planning on opening a location in that space in the coming year.... I hope its not permanent. That space costs a lot in rent due to its location, so if its a local place I dont see it lasting very long.

agreed about coach but i dont see why they already havent moved up here. that is a major suprise because in wisconsin there is one in appleton which is smaller than duluth ( but i guess its average income is alot more too)
has coach ever scouted our mall for that type of thing cause i know apple has?

Actually the Mall is Appleton is one of the most visited in the Midwest over 16 million Visitors each year. The city of Appleton is a little smaller but the metro is alot larger over a smaller area and then when u thrown in Green Bay its 3 times as larger as the Duluth-Superior metro. And a more white collar conservative part of wisconsin with a higher income. And outside of Madison, Eau Claire. Hudson-River Falls area its one of the fastest growing parts of the state. I was in Duluth last wednesday and there's something about the city i like and im not sure what it is. I think it's the grittyness, which I like... Anyways the Appleton mall has 180 stores is one of the largest in Wisconsin other than Mayfair in Milwaukee. Fox River Mall is very nice and has a very strong tenant line up. It differs greatly from the Miller Hill Mall in the fact that its proximity to much larger cities is greater than MHM's to Minneapolis. Therefore stores such as Coach and Banana Republic are willing to go into Fox River Mall because they know that their stores will do well being they know so much about the market already. Stores are just beginning to do that in Duluth. So I wouldn't be surprised if the MHM turns out pretty similar to Fox River Mall soon. Very impressed by Fox River Mall.
Just talked to Build A Bear Workshop, they still plan on opening in Duluth in the Miller Hill Mall, the date is still unknown though..

The windows are in at Five Guys! Looking inside I was surprised, its basically done. I still feel though that is would be pretty hard for them to open by Halloween like they planned on it. But all the tile work and wall work is done and everything is built out.

Found something interesting today when looking around on Five Guys website. When you go to look at their career section, I did this because I wanted to see if they had any of the future locations up for MN, and you click Edina and then in the store location spot Edina pops up. You click St. Cloud and in the store location St. Cloud pops up. But when you click Duluth, Miller Hill Mall pops up in the store location. Does this mean Five Guys has plans to open more locations in Duluth? Because if they didnt.... why wouldnt Duluths store location just be called Duluth? Or why then didnt St. Clouds say Division Street or Edinas say Gallagher Dr? I may just be obsessing and freaking out over nothing.... which is probably the case. What are peoples thoughts? More locations planned or just a different naming?
