Superior has Guadalajaras-which is pretty good. Duluth has Hacienda del Sol, Maya Mexican, Burrito Union, and Mexico Lindo in Cloquet. Out of those options, I like Maya and Hacienda best. Chipotle would just add another option.

I agree with the Pizza Luce area location, but also think Kenwood and/or Mount Royal would be perfect, being so close to the colleges.

I agree with the Pizza Luce area, downtown for the lunch crowd, but not holiday center that is a ghost town after 2pm and weekends. Also I think the shopping center in Denfeld(can't think of the name)accross from taco johns, would get school crowd and locals.

The Denfeld plaza? Does anyone think the site across from Pizza Luce that is being renovated would be a good site for Chipotle?

Now here's the big question: Would a Chipotle put Burrito Union out of business?

The answer to that question is no. They are two totally different types of burrito joints.

In a city of 86,000... not a chance. Supporting multiple "high quality" burrito joints is no different than our successfully supporting four Taco Johns and a Taco Bell. Plus, I can't walk into Chipotles and order myself a Starfire, a two fisted Happy Worker and enjoy some local music ;-)
Plus Chipotles has no atmosphere.

Im pretty sure sending mass emails to Chipotles corporate offices with opinions on a suggested location is not going to convince them to build a restaurant.
