Plus Chipotles has no atmosphere.

That's what I figured. (The alcohol element)
Of course, college kids could just "pre-game" before going to Chipotle.

haha, well, let's hope not... in that case, let's recommend a location within walking distance of a liquor store.

Thats not the reason for this thread. They are already considering Duluth, they just need to locations that are currently available. They are going to get a look at Duluth Hill said the developer.

I concur with Duluthian - Chipotle is interested in Duluth and has been up here looking. I think it's a great idea to give them a few ideas. I hope they don't go downtown though because I hate trying to park down there. I don't think they would put Burrito Union out of business. I have been to both and they both offer enough difference, as long as they aren't right next to each other they should do fine.

Thanks CrystalIce for your support. The reason why they wont put each other out of business is because they are totally different from each other. Chipotle is straight up mexican burritos and tacos, where Burrito Union does not offer made to order burritos and also has a different style of burritos following the russian decor. I think the only place Chipotle would even think about locating is around the mall or Kenwood and maybe for a second location, downtown depending how well the first location did. That is even if they even opened a location up here. Keep our fingers crossed. Any one have site suggestions?

St. Cloud is getting another Chipotle. I prefer Pancheros. If St Cloud can support two, Duluth can support one.

I agree with you ozzie679 about Duluth being able to support a Chipotle if St. Cloud can support two. I mean Duluth is a lot bigger than ST. Cloud and St. Cloud is still about an hour away from the nearest Chipotle. Where is the second going?

I heard Waite Park. BTW, I think the St Cloud Metro is larger than Duluth's Metro.
