Last I heard that project was scraped so the Real Life Cooperative Building could be built. I know that one will be built with in the next year.

Here are some photos of the new engineering building at UMD and the recently completed School of Business at UMD.

Someone asked earlier if the Weiland Blocks was completed and it is done and looks great. They are also building a new skywalk over lake and first to the Tech village.

Long time, no update! Just here to throw up some more recent photos. These are from yesterday (Sept 1st).

DECC - 09/01/09 | POV Top floor of original DECC parking ramp

Residence Inn - 09/01/09 | POV Cub Foods parking lot

Texas Roadhouse - 09/01/09 | POV Olive Garden parking lot

Of these three projects, I'd say Texas Roadhouse definitely shows the slowest progress. I'd also like to get some shots of the front of Residence Inn before they get too much further.

I have a question, why do they change the plans for the major new buildings in Duluth? Both the new arena and airport terminal had cool futuristic plans when they were first proposed and the current plans are more traditional.

Yup. Drove on it about 10:00 AM Friday. What difference! At least they fixed the worst part. Now if they would only fix Glenwood Ave.
