Yup, thats what is really going on. Obama says that stimulus is to create jobs. Its wrong. What is actually happening is the stimulus is just to save existing jobs. Its not creating ANY new jobs. Once the stimulus money runs out you can just guess what is going to happen. All those jobs that were saved are suddenly going to vanish.

No they will not vanish. Congress is the employer of last resort and is about to pass a bill that will pay the next round of teacher salaries.

hahaha. Those bailouts are going to end eventually. Thats when everything is going to fall apart. The government can't run hundred billion dollar deficits every year forever. Eventually people stop lending the government money.

I'm in agreement as well.
How long can the government pay people that don't work and also pay people that work ?
That IS what is happening.

Well, government simply takes money from one person and gives it to another. Why are we taxing the productive and using it for unproductive means? Don't get me wrong here, we need government to do some things but not at the scale it has gotten to these days. The amount of taxes we pay is outrageous. I am surprised the economy has held up this long.

The stimulus was sold to the public as a infrastructure bill that would creat massive numbers of jobs. The actual bill was not that at all as infrastructure was a small part of it.Basic the public was lied to but it took time since they didn't even produce the massive bill until just hours before it was voted on.Just another polical con by politicans like always.

The stimulus just stimulated the corporate fat cats, workers received wages like always. Big construction companies got a ton of money to patch up the ailing infrastructure, mainly highway reconstruction, some went to the states for handouts to their favored constituents. Jobs are always "created" in these attempts by government to shore up the sagging economy, the dilemma of course is how do we hold on to those jobs before the total collapse of the money supply. Anyone who believes the crap of political party shills needs to be severely beaten by both parties for a long enough time in order to gain a realistic understanding of the futility of politics as an answer to our collective ills.....

Correct, and even worse I believe the stimulus actually hurt more people than it helped.

Everytime Obama talks about how if he didn't pass the stimulus or this and that it is complete b.s. Nobody knows and it is completely arbitrary for him to think he actually saved the economy and jobs...and that it would have been worse. We could make the statement that had they done nothing we would have taken a hit and would be better off right now.
