I recently saw a report on the news which said how farmers in the United States are doing really bad. Many having to sell, and go into more profitable businesses. But the report only talked about produce farmers and said nothing of tabacco farmers. I was wondering if tabacco farmers are in the same situation, especially since the number of Americans who are "kicking the habit" is on the increase.

Do they still get subsidies from the government? Or is that all in the past? Just wondering.
