Irony.

I'd be curious exactly what you think you will achieve by moving to a foreign country.

Believe I've got nothing against living overseas I've done it and it is definitely among the retirement options the wife and I discuss, but don't assume life would automatically be easier or more prosperous by setting up your tent in another country.
Righ on the money slackjaw!

Stress, unhapiness, frustration, etc are inside jobs. Whatever is stressing someone out where they currently live has a 99% likelihood of stressing that person out in their new location. Unless a person has been able to change their beliefs ( conscious and unconscious ) at the root of their unhappiness where they currently live, chances are extremely high that the same unhappiness will rear its ugly head as soon as the novelty of the new location wears off.

Wherever you go....there you are!

On a completely unrelated note, which is fine seeing how this thread has become even more completely unrelated to itself, wouldn't it be strange to have lived in an era where wearing a hat was expected? Aside from a brief late teen backward baseball cap phase I've never been much of a hat guy, yet it seems so many pictures and paintings of previous generations every guy outside has a hat on.
