The source is unqualified and deserves to be dissed to until the Earth spirals into the Sun.

The topic has been discussed ad nauseum on this forum and Snyder the Unqualified brings nothing new to the discussion.

No one disputes the American Middle Class is disappearing and I will be the first to so state, having already done so repeatedly on this forum for the 'Tards who don't get it.

Contrary to you and the ignoramus Snyder, the American Middle Class is not disappearing because of "Globalism" it is disappearing because it is the stupidest Middle Class to ever exist in the history of the whole of Earth and in all parallel and alternate universes or multi-verses which theoretically may or may not exist.

The previous Middle Class did not commit any of the following financial gaffes that only a 2-year old is capable of committing:

1) Buying a car with no money down and getting upside down on the loan resulting in the inability to refinance the vehicle at a lower payment or sell/trade the vehicle without taking a loss. Previous Middle Classes always put money down and always financed for 24-36 months, not 60-72 months;

2) Previous Middle Classes did not allow themselves to be saddled with perpetual car payments. There are people who are 40+ who have made a car payment every single month of their lives since they were 19, 20 or 21 years. That is unprecedented in American history. No Middle Class has ever been so stupid as to get suckered into perpetual car payments, and that is a major difference: previous Middle Classes looked forward to becoming unburdened with car payments, while today's Middle Class can't wait to purchase a new car and continue making car payments. Over a span of 20 years, previous middle classes only made car payments for 48 - 96 months, not 240 months, resulting in tremendous savings, in most cases enough money for a down payment on a home.

3) Previous Middle Classes purchased "starter homes" a word-phrase not even in the vocabulary of today's Middle Class, and previous Middle Classes weren't so stupid as to buy a $250,000 McMansion with no money down. Previous Middle Classes purchased a starter home for $60,000 to $80,000, even though (gack!) it wasn't "new." They put 25% to 35% down and financed for 15 to 30 years, then often refinanced for 5 to 15 years 5-7 years after making payments (to lower their monthly payment even more) and then usually sold it for 25%-50% more than purchase price and used those monies to purchase the home they really wanted.

Compare:

$250,000 with 0% down at 6.5 % for 30 years down the stupid Middle Class pays $318,000 in interest.

Previous Middle Classes put 25% to 35% down and paid only $79,956 in interest.

Who's the Big Brain? Um, not Snyder and not the present Middle Class.

The previous Middle Class would take the $238,905 in interest payments saved and put it into a savings account.

At the end of 30 years, they would have saved up $762,505.35

If you retire at 65 and die at 85 then $762,505/20 years is $38,000 per year, plus your Social Security, plus your pension, plus your 401k and any other investments you have.

Even if the savings in interest was not put into a savings account, $238,905 buys a helluva lot of DVDs and other stupid stuff that people really don't need.

And then you morons have the unmitigated gall to demand that I give you more money for Social Security. Up yours.

Again, who's the Big Brain? Not your chump Snyder. He's dumber than a box of rocks.

4) Previous Middle Classes did not have massive credit debt and an excess number of cards. Prior to 1980, there weren't any 22 year old college grads with $20,000 in credit card debt, because you couldn't get credit cards unless you met the 7/5 Rule. If you had the same address for 7 years and same job for 5 years or same job for 7 years and same address for 5 years (and no bankruptcies, collection accounts or other problems) you could get a credit card.

Lest the morons be confused, a credit card and charge card are not the same thing.

A charge card is a two-way relationship between you and the merchant, who extends credit to you. You can't use your Texaco, SOHIO, Tressler Comet, Union 76, JC Penny, Montgomery Ward or Sears card to buy food at McDonald's.

A credit card is a three-way relationship between you, the merchants (plural) and the bank. The bank fronts the money to you to spend at merchants who will agree to the terms of the bank.

The previous Middle Class did not use their credit cards for trivial things, like the current Middle Class does. They also had the common sense and self-discipline that the current Middle Class lacks to save up money and pay cash for the $1,700 Plasma TV. Even when they used their credit card to make such a hefty purchase, they planned for it, and typically paid it off within 3-6 months.

The present Middle Class is so stupid they will buy a $1,700 Plasma TV and then pay $1,973 in interest because they're idiots.

5) It's a disposable society. When the Middle Class isn't voluntarily giving away it's money to the stinky rich, it fritters it away on stupid stuff. The previous Middle Class spent $1.59 on a pack of 4 dish-clothes for use in the kitchen. The Stupid Class spends $5.39 every week for orange-scented Chlorox Kitchen Wipes (made from imported light oil). The Stupid Class spends $Thousands on disposable diapers, instead of using cloth-diapers and making judicious use of disposable diapers. The previous Middle Classes opened up the windows on their home/apartment and let the fresh air in. The Stupid Class spends $Hundreds on air fresheners, scented candles and "plug-ins" (all made from imported light oil) The previous Middle Class bought a bottle of Bo-Peep Ammonia for $0.89 and mixed a little with water to clean their windows. The Stupid Class spends $Hundreds on glass-cleaner (water and ammonia and an artificial scent made from imported light oil) that comes in pretty packaging (made from imported light oil) with pretty colors on the label (and the colors and adhesive from the label come from imported light oil). The Stupid Class throws away their money eating out 17-25 per week. Previous Middle Classes weren't so stupid as to do that.

The demise of the Middle Class is their own doing, not some sinister conspiracy by Globalists and Globalism.

To the extent that Globalism might be involved, that is also the fault of the Stupid Class. They turned a blind eye, stuck their head in the sand, or were blissfully ignorant while their government raped and pillaged the resources of other countries instead of developing them and lifting them up, which proves the US is neither a christian nation nor a benevolent democracy.

That created a huge disparity in standard of living and wages and you benefited from that.

Now those countries are under the protection of the BRIC countries, who are doing what the US refused to do, and that is develop and lift up those countries.

You created the disparity in standard of living and wages through a lack of fore-sight, and now you have to deal with it. You can call it karma, or revenge or plain old natural law of economics, but the simple fact is that your standard of living and wages will continue to decline until the rest of the world catches up and some equilibrium point is achieved.

The disappearing Middle Class might not be the best thing for you, but it is your fault, and not the fault of Globalism, and it will be the best thing for the rest of the world.

Snyder is just another 'Tard that doesn't understand.

Or maybe he does, I don't think Snyder's actual opinion is even relevant, he's doing this to make money. He probably attended one of those "make money off the internet" seminars or has a few books, and he was clever enough to realize that if he could focus on fear during a recession there are vegetables out there that would lap it up and pay his mortgage.

Hell he's done so well at it that he actually has people believing they are helping others by spamming to those who's heads are in the sand.

Kudos to Snyder.

Actually, the post you quoted was asking about the motivation of the blog cited in the OP. The real answer is "to get people to buy gold coins, siver coins, emergency food, water filters, etc."

Sure there were plenty of Middle Classers who did stupid things, but all your comments reflect microcosmic realities, not the macro view of what the elite classes have done to our country, all the obscene inequities of the tax system and banking system in America. You can blame individuals all you want, but the truth is, in the larger picture, their doings are small particles in the bucket of slime now slowly pouring over (the rest of) us.

(Re-read, slowly, post #17 above)
