Hello, on the 1st of this month I signed up for a carwash plan that would automatically recur every month. I have taken a job out of town and will no longer be able to use the car wash plan at all. However per their policy I am not allowed to cancel within the first month. I spoke with them and they are unwilling to budge for my circumstance. While it is somewhat understandable it is also somewhat unreasonable. The receipt with all of the plan information has no mention of this part of their policy.

Is there any ramification to just stop payment on my card other than them obviously cancelling the plan?

How much money are we talking about? It sound's rather trivial. Is it transferable, so someone else can use it for the paid-up month?

It is trivial, only $30 but thats a steak dinner! Its not transferable. Its not so much the money, I just want to know if I can do this without any sort of credit score backlash.

Call the card and tell them to cancel. (Not pay anything to X company)

IF they put something on your credit.. you can respond and have ti taken off.

If it's not in writing... yo uain't gatta.
