Reminds me of the mass-die-off end of the world threads we had here a few months ago.

Seriously, while some of the things going are not good....every time something bad happens it's just wildly extrapolated and thus will destroy civilization in 6 months!!!!

Then when all the predictions fail...again...you guys run from the thread off to the next crisis that will end civilization. Lather, rinse, repeat.
So how else can I make my humdrum life bearable? If the apocalypse can't happen to save me from a life of endless mediocrity, what can?

Oil has crossed $112 and rising fast on a bombing in Libya near the oil fields. I am still calling for $113 by close of trading today.

I predict $121 by next Friday and oil in record territory by Memorial Day.

Oil is at 113.01 as of 4:28PM. It looks like I called it right. $114 is almost a definite on Monday, and I wouldn't be surprised to see $115.

What is "almost a definite"? Is it like being almost pregnant?

Either something is definite or it is not.

NiceT4 in Georgia (on one of the forums) drives a golf cart around town, gets him from Point A to Point B. The highway, well that could be a little rough. But a combo of golf cart and public transportation could save us.
