I think a lot of people are kidding themselves about how quickly the economy is going to improve. I expect the blame game and class warfare to get worse before it gets better.

Just like the 1930s when the Government sent the Army against the Bonus Marchers, or Matewan, the greed of the rich always goes too far

But most of them don't, they inherit it like the Koch Brothers or Steve Forbes. Every eighth dollar taken in by United Health Care goes to its CEOs salary. 25 men cost the taxpayer $4 billion a year in taxes that you and I get to meke up. We can sort them out later

But do not take it personal -- it is not. Like when the rent goes up on the bottom-end folks. All just business.
Keep in mind our value system -- "Better that (quite) a few Middle Class should die, than One Single Reech Bastard should escape our wrath." It is why we burn down entire sections of the city, including our own, when we get on a tear. Life aint real fair or just on the bottom, so do not expect it.

Your are very clever with your rhetoric, but I don't think it's funny. What is funny about killing masses of people, including people whom even you characterize as innocents? And in case you are serious (which I rather doubt), then it is even worse and the only moral thing to be done is to seek you out and kill you, which I would be incapable of doing on several levels, but I am simply talking about morality. What makes your stance (whether the stance is taken in jest or in seriousness) any different than that of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or Pol Pot of Cambodia? You remind me most of Pol Pot, who had everyone who wore glasses killed, such was his blind hatred of intellectuals. Out of all the nonsense I have read on CD, I think the advocacy of a killing frenzy is the most incomprehensible, even if that advocacy is supposed to be some kind of sick humor. If you actually believe that human beings do not have any value as such, you and I have no common ground for discussion.

You seem to be mistaken. I took the CURRENT estate tax rules, and ADDED 15% tax to them. I made it so the rich pay MORE taxes. Do you want lower estate taxes? I don't understand.

Odd, Escort Rider, you seem less concerned for the root causes of potential violence, than a discussion of its possibility. I was just a kid in the 60s, and I am white, but I do understand why the inner cities saw massive amounts of blocks burned down in the late 60s, particularly after the murder of MLK. The 1928ish distribution of wealth amongst an elite few, will most likely have nasty side effects at some point, just as occured in the early part of the 20th century. Wishing and hoping will not stop that, and speech is not the problem. Root Cause time is long past due; corrective action time is long past due. Ignoring problems of this sort, just as was done in the 50s and 60s, is gasoline on the fires. The old adage "Those who are not part of the solution, are part of the problem" renders true.

What are you talking about? See, you have hate for me, and I'm not even wealthy. People just hate others that are different than them.

I disagree. I think it will improve fairly quickly. I suspect unemployment will drop to lows somewhere between 2015 and 2020. I honestly doubt it will take any longer. Why do you think it will take a long time?
